- Support the delivery of fair customer outcomes by embedding the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) across pricing activities.
- Assist with the deployment of pricing models and execution of price testing to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
- Contribute to pricing projects by developing predictive models, analysing large datasets, and generating actionable insights.
- Build and maintain accurate data sets to support robust analysis and reporting.
- Produce regular reports to monitor customer behaviour, validate pricing strategies, and ensure compliance with conduct controls.
- Communicate findings clearly through written reports and presentations to support informed business decisions.
- Help optimise renewal pricing by developing and maintaining models aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with IT, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of pricing initiatives.
- Proficient in at least one programming language, ideally SQL or Python, with a strong ability to analyse and manipulate data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, using analytical techniques to draw insights and solve business challenges.
- Experience working with large datasets, either through academic study or within a commercial (preferably insurance) environment.
- Strong attention to detail, with a keen eye for identifying issues in data, processes, or models.
- Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Educated to degree level or higher in a numerical or analytical subject, or with equivalent practical experience.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, creative thinking, and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Demonstrates a clear appetite for learning and developing new skills in data science and pricing.
