About the Opportunity

As a Probation Services Officer (PSO), you'll work with medium and lower-risk offenders, helping them rehabilitate and reintegrate into society. The role involves managing caseloads, writing reports, liaising with criminal justice agencies, and providing vital support such as housing or employment advice. What We’re Looking For

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience supporting individuals with personal or social challenges
Ability to motivate, engage, and manage behaviour positively
Understanding of offending-related issues (e.g., substance misuse, housing)
Confidence in using IT systems to manage caseloads and documentation
5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (including English and Maths) or equivalent literacy/numeracy skills
