The Intelligence Corps is one of the most specialised units in the British Army, responsible for collecting and analysing vital intelligence to support operational success. Though small in size, its impact is significant — with soldiers embedded across the Army, influencing decisions from the front line to government.
About the Opportunity
As an Intelligence Officer, you’ll lead elite teams analysing threats and opportunities to support key decision-makers across military and national security operations. You’ll train at the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, followed by specialist intelligence training. Opportunities include foreign language development, surveillance specialisation, and working with government at the highest level. Earn £34,676 during training, rising to £41,456 upon commissioning.
What We’re Looking For
- Aged 17 years & 9 months to 28 years & 11 months
- 72 UCAS points
- 35 GCSE ALIS points, including Grade C/4 in English, Maths, and a science or language
- Strong physical fitness (e.g. beep test level 8.07)
- Willingness to undergo enhanced security clearance
- Commitment to lead and make high-stakes decisions
