About the Opportunity
This 4-year Level 6 Telecoms Systems Engineering Apprenticeship offers a unique path into transport engineering through paid, structured placements across telecoms, wireless systems, cyber security, capital projects, and more. You'll complete up to nine rotations, gaining broad experience while working toward professional registration. From day one, you'll contribute to real projects — from upgrading station comms to supporting emergency service radio systems. With expert mentors and hybrid working, this role provides a strong foundation for a future as a fully qualified Telecoms Engineer within TfL.
Salary: £29,281 + Hybrid working + Professional development
What We’re Looking For
- Aged 18+ by the programme start date
- GCSEs: Minimum 2 at Grade 4/C or above including Maths and English Language
- A Levels: BBB (including Maths and/or Physical Sciences) or equivalent Level 3 qualifications with 120–128 UCAS points
- Must not already hold or be working toward a related Level 6 qualification
