This role is to compliment our environmental services team, focusing on our grounds maintenance demands., provide resilience to our service delivery and ensure we are striving to keep the areas across the district as clean and tidy year round. Working as part of our Place teams delivering environmental services across Bromsgrove and Redditch.

Key Requirements
Applicants must have a full UK driving license and at least 2 years experience and related training in horticulture, cleansing, waste management or similar discipline. And to have an excellent understanding of the districts and the services that are delivered by the authorizes to help keep our Place clean and looking good as outlined in the job spec.
Previous experience of Horticultural operation would be an advantage but training will be provided to support the role.
Our team are using a mobile device platform to assign work and this allows our team to record work done and log anything they feel is necessary to help deliver our standards.
Operational guidance and support will be given to ensure you can use our systems and develop to our evolving service delivery. We have a good team and there is always support as part of that to ensure we get the job done.
Skills & experience
The successful applicant will ideally hold a current CPC training card, will also be able to demonstrate the correct attitudes, behaviors, and personal attributes to provide a quality, customer focused shared service to both Redditch and Bromsgrove Councils and their customers.
At least 2 years’ experience and related training in Landscape Maintenance, Cleansing, Waste Management or similar disciplines is essential along with an understanding of the district.
Must be reliable, a good timekeeper and have evidence of a good attendance record and must be able to carry out manual duties in all weathers.
You will be able to deliver excellent customer care and have a clear understanding of how this relates to quality services and delivery standards.
Someone who is flexible and has a ‘can do’ attitude and approach in supporting the demands and specific needs of services throughout both authorities.
