About the Company
Ian Mosey Group is a well-established, family-owned farming business based near Malton, North Yorkshire. With operations spanning pig rearing, feed production, arable, cattle, and sheep farming, the group plays a vital role in the UK pork industry, rearing pigs across third-party farms and managing breeding herds in-house.
About the Opportunity
This is a hands-on, full-time role based at Blackdale Farm near Coulton, offering varied day-to-day responsibilities across pig rearing and finishing sites, with around 5,500 pigs. You'll support everything from feeding and welfare to medication and loading, while also gaining experience in the mixed farm and workshops. Full training will be provided, with opportunities to progress into senior roles as your experience grows.
What We’re Looking For
- GCSE education or equivalent
- Strong practical mindset and willingness to work outdoors
- Basic mechanical knowledge and use of hand tools desirable
- Good attention to animal welfare and detail in record-keeping
- Flexibility to support weekend work and assist across different areas of the business
- Full UK driving licence is a plus
