About the Company

About the Opportunity

This one-week Work Experience Programme (4–8 August 2025) is designed for students aged 16–18 in full-time education or training. You’ll gain unique insight into how major government decisions are made and see how policy shapes the nation. Expect mentoring from civil servants, interactive sessions, real project involvement, and the chance to meet Ministers. Choose to join at either the London or Darlington campus, with a mix of virtual and in-person activities. A baseline security check is required, and applicants must have access to a laptop or tablet.

What We’re Looking For

✔️ Students aged 16–18 in full-time education or training

✔️ No existing close connections to HM Treasury

✔️ A curiosity about government, policy, and public service

✔️ Able to commit to the full programme (4–8 August 2025)

✔️ Access to a laptop/tablet for virtual sessions

✔️ Willingness to undergo a basic security check
