About the Opportunity
Join BT as a Level 4 Engineering Maintenance Technician Apprentice and work in the field as part of the Power & Cooling team. Based in Salisbury and starting in September 2025, you’ll earn a salary of £23,810, receive a company van, and gain hands-on experience maintaining critical power systems that keep the UK connected.
Over three years, you’ll study towards a nationally recognised qualification, spending time at Stoke College on block release while learning from experienced engineers. This role is perfect for practical problem-solvers who want to work outside the office, learn on the job, and contribute to meaningful national infrastructure.
What We’re Looking For
✅ Two A-Levels (min. CC), including Maths at grade B or higher
✅ Five GCSEs (grades 4-9), including English and Maths
✅ Full manual UK driving licence
✅ Able to travel to Salisbury (within 45 minutes)
✅ Practical mindset, hands-on experience, and curiosity about how things work
✅ Passion for engineering, power systems, or technology
