About the Opportunity
This fully funded Electro-Technical Cadetship is your opportunity to gain a Foundation Degree or HND in Marine Electrical and Electronic Engineering while travelling the world and earning a salary. You’ll learn how to maintain and operate complex electrical systems, from engine room equipment and control systems to navigation and entertainment tech. With hands-on learning and academic support, you’ll gain the skills, qualifications and experiences to launch a lasting career in the maritime industry—debt-free and full of opportunity.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong interest in engineering, technology, and maritime operations
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Calm under pressure and adaptable in changing environments
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
- Minimum four GCSEs (Grades 9–5 / A*–C) including Maths, Science (with physical science), and English
- Alternatively, an equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering (e.g., BTEC National Diploma or GNVQ Advanced)
- UK or EEA citizenship, UK residency for at least 1 year, and unrestricted right to live/work in the UK
