About the Opportunity
The Engineer Graduate Cadetship is a fast-track programme designed for qualified engineering graduates or apprenticeship holders to gain an Officer of the Watch Certificate. Lasting as little as 18 months, this fully funded training route combines practical sea-based learning with cutting-edge technical development across Carnival UK’s luxury cruise fleet. You’ll gain hands-on experience with high-tech marine systems, grow as a decision-maker, and embark on a rewarding career at sea—all while travelling the world.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree, HND, or NVQ Level 3+ in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine or related Engineering
- GCSEs grade 5-9 (or equivalent)
- UK/EEA citizenship and UK residency for the past year
- ENG1 medical certificate
- Letter of Initial Assessment (LIA) from an approved Maritime Education Establishment
- Strong teamwork, resilience, and motivation to learn
- Clear communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
