About the Opportunity
The Legal & General Accounting Internship is an 8-week summer programme (July–August) designed to give penultimate-year students hands-on experience within accounting functions across the Group. Interns will rotate through teams such as Tax, Treasury, Audit, Financial Reporting, and Risk Analytics. You’ll gain real-world exposure to financial processes, reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder collaboration. With training, speaker sessions, and networking events, this internship is an excellent foundation for those considering a career in finance or applying to the L&G Graduate Programme.
What We’re Looking For
- Penultimate-year undergraduate, on track for a 2:1 (preferably in a numerate subject)
- Strong numerical skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Curious, eager to learn, and adaptable
