You’ll be part of a Maintenance Team and will be given the opportunity to dive into a dynamic, real-world engineering environment where you’ll get stuck into everything from fault-finding and equipment upgrades to leading small projects and supporting new installations. You’ll be mentored by experienced professionals and will gain the hands-on experience that will help push your career to the next level.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Support the team when new equipment is being installed, with long-term maintenance in mind.
Take the lead on smaller maintenance projects around the smelter.
Troubleshooting equipment issues and help train others to do the same.
Follow the correct isolation steps to keep things safe when working with hazardous energy.
Make sure all electrical gear is up to scratch and meets company standards.
Keep an eye on audits to make sure everything’s compliant on site.
Diagnosing and solving equipment issues

What We’re Looking For:

A degree in Electrical Engineering or a time-served electrical trade qualification
A team player who’s organised and ready to learn
A basic understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation
