About the Opportunity
As a Graduate Arboriculturist, you’ll support a wide range of UK infrastructure projects—from bespoke local schemes to major national developments like HS2 and East West Rail. You’ll gain experience in BS5837 surveys, technical reporting, tree climbing for ecology surveys, veteran tree assessments, and site supervision. You’ll also collaborate closely with environmental, design, and engineering teams.
Your development will be supported through technical training, a three-year "Accelerate Your Future" programme, chartered mentorship, and biannual salary reviews. This role offers the chance to build specialist skills, achieve professional accreditation, and contribute to projects that protect and enhance the environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, or a related environmental field (2023 or later)
- Strong tree and fungi identification skills
- Excellent report writing and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Full driving licence
- (Desirable) Familiarity with BS5837:2012 & BS3998:2010, tree climbing certification, QTRA, or professional association membership
