We at CloudStone Education are looking to recruit Graduate Teaching Assistants to support a vibrant secondary school in the heart of Durham, starting from September or sooner.

To be considered for this role, you should hold a degree and have a keen interest in pursuing a career in education. Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential—enthusiasm, dedication, and a genuine passion for supporting students are key.

You’ll work closely with teaching staff to support pupils across a range of subjects, offering both classroom and one-on-one assistance. The Ideal Candidate To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

A degree in any subject (education-related degrees are a bonus)
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with young people
A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to support across various subjects and year groups
An interest in pursuing a career in teaching or working with young people
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Reliability, professionalism, and a friendly demeanour
