About the Opportunity

As a Visitor Assistant at Housesteads Roman Fort, Haydon Bridge, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm, informative, and engaging experience for all guests. You’ll work alongside a friendly team to support daily site operations, deliver excellent customer service, and contribute to a safe and well-presented environment. You’ll gain full training, access to career progression in heritage, and enjoy a range of benefits, including free site access and apprenticeship opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

Enthusiasm for working with people and providing great customer service
Enjoyment of teamwork and clear communication
Willingness to work weekends and Bank Holidays
Paid or voluntary public-facing experience (desirable)
