About the role
These posts are to support the delivery of UCL Global Business School for Health’s BSc/MSci in Business and Health. We are looking for several individuals to support this programme by leading seminar groups, contributing to content development and lecturing. The individual will:
- Contribute to the development of education content for this module. You will be compensated for creating the content on the Moodle site prior to the start of term as well as lecturing, and running seminars in term time.
- Marking and overall module management will be expected
We require the successful candidate to start as soon as possible, and they must have right to work in the UK. The hourly rate is £45 per hour.

About you
The post holder(s) will prepare and deliver appropriate teaching material, including regular lectures, tutorials and seminars, as part of the delivery of the relevant module requirements. Duties will include:
- Teach on one or more modules including supervision, administration and marking of exams and assessments.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of a high-quality, inclusive curriculum for specific modules.
- Design, develop and deliver learning materials, schemes of work and records maintaining student progress, attainment and attendance, provide pastoral care and support to students.
- Actively promote the UCL East vision of transdisciplinarity, collaboration, and public engagement.
- Support and advance UCL’s equality, diversity and inclusion ambitions.
- Carry out duties in a resource efficient way and actively support UCL’s Sustainability Strategy, policies and objectives within the remit of the role.
You will have excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to enthuse listeners, and be able to deliver research-led effective, engaging and inclusive postgraduate teaching.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of and enthusiasm for collaborative and team-based working and have the ability and willingness to contribute to the education, research profile, administration and general life of the School.
