About the Opportunity
BT is offering a Level 4 Engineering Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship based in Yeovil, starting 8th September 2025. This full-time, field-based role pays £23,810 and includes a company van and full equipment.
You’ll work with expert engineers on critical power and cooling systems across the BT network. Training includes block-release study at Stoke College, with 20% of your working hours dedicated to learning over a 3-year programme. This is a chance to gain a nationally recognised qualification while solving real-world engineering challenges — a perfect launchpad for a career in infrastructure and technology.
What We’re Looking For
✅ Two A-Levels (minimum CC), including Maths at grade B or higher
✅ Five GCSEs (grades 4-9), including English and Maths
✅ Full manual UK driving licence
✅ Live within 45 minutes of Yeovil (BA20 1AD)
✅ Hands-on, problem-solving mindset
✅ Enthusiasm for power systems, engineering, or technology
