The Governing Body of Longwood Primary school are looking to appoint:
A level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in Early Years
32.5 hours per week, term time only.
This is a permanent position commencing September 2025
an Early Years Practioner to join our hardworking and enthusiastic team. The position is to support our younger pupils in our nursery class opening September 2025. This is a permanent position term time only.
The successful applicant will be an excellent Early Years practitioner with high expectations for all pupils. Bring with them a hard-working positive attitude and demonstrate enthusiasm for continuing the schools vision. Be well organized, caring, professional and dedicated to maximizing the development and potential of all our children.

For this role specifically, candidates must be able to support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum, have a good understanding of child development, excellent numeracy and literacy skill, demonstrate a high level of speech and language, be able to liaise with parents/carers where necessary, work alongside an excellent teacher to establish and appropriate learning environment, implement agreed learning activities and be flexible enough to work around the school.
