What You’ll Be Doing
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and statutory reports in line with regulatory requirements.
Supporting the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Using popular financial systems such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and PeopleSoft to maintain accurate records.
Helping to analyse and interpret financial data, offering insights to support business decisions.
Working closely with experienced accountants and financial analysts on sector-specific finance projects.
Taking part in team mentoring schemes and contributing to the development of junior staff and interns.
Maintaining compliance with company policy, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
What We’re Looking For
A degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a numerically strong discipline (minimum 2:2).
A keen interest in developing a professional career in accountancy or financial reporting.
Some familiarity with accounting software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft) is desirable.
Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
Confident communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team setting.
A proactive mindset with a desire to learn, contribute, and grow quickly in a structured environment.
Previous internships or work experience in a finance or accounting setting are a bonus but not required.
