About the Opportunity
This full-time Assistant Psychologist role sits within the Urgent Care Team at FTB, offering psychology graduates the chance to work closely with Clinical Psychologists and multidisciplinary teams supporting young people in crisis. You’ll gain valuable clinical experience through direct work, supervision, service evaluation and training delivery—making this an ideal stepping stone for a future in professional psychology.
What We’re Looking For
- Upper Second Class (2:1) or higher degree in Psychology (BPS GBC eligibility required)
- Experience supporting young people with mental health challenges
- Confident working in emotive, high-pressure environments
- Ability to work independently, flexibly, and collaboratively
- Awareness of West Midlands communities (desirable)
- Interest in pursuing a career in professional psychology
