About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated Graduate CAD Technician to join our clients design team, supporting the delivery of bespoke underfloor heating solutions for commercial and industrial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering or design graduate to develop hands-on experience within a growing and technically innovative industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for commercial and industrial underfloor heating system layouts
Assist in the preparation of design and installation drawings using AutoCAD (or similar CAD software)
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and sales teams to ensure drawings meet technical and client requirements
Support the technical team in the review of architectural and mechanical plans
Contribute to design revisions and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain drawing standards and ensure accurate record-keeping
What We’re Looking For:
A degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Building Services, or a related discipline
Basic understanding of building layouts, heating systems, or mechanical services
Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar CAD software); 3D CAD experience desirable
Desirable:
Exposure to or interest in HVAC, plumbing, or heating system design
Familiarity with BIM or Revit would be advantageous but not essential
