We are an Adult Education service delivering courses across the community in a range of subjects from basic computer courses, functional skills English and Maths to painting and drawing and many more within the adult learning centres and community-based venues.
The successful candidates will be part of a busy administrative function, helping learners with enrolment, maintaining education records and carrying out data entry responsibilities.
As the first person to greet our learners when they arrive in the building you will be expected to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and provide a friendly and welcoming environment for all.
Essential requirements for candidates;
- Excellent customer service Skills.
- A friendly and welcoming attitude.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams).
- A commitment to data protection.
Training will be provided in the departments management information system (MIS); however, experience of databases or data entry will be an advantage.
As part of a team, the successful candidate will be expected to help with the opening and locking of the adult education centres as required.
There is a requirement to be on duty during evening opening hours in term time (typically one evening per fortnight) and to help with occasional weekend events.

Qualifications
A minimum of 5 GCSE’s A* to C (9 to 4) including English and Maths or equivalent. The succesful applicant will be required to provide evidence of these qualifications.
The succesful applicant will be required to undertake a Standard DBS Check.
