To support our growing school, we are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic School Administrator to join our successful school team. The Westminster School is a Special School catering for 275 pupils with moderate learning difficulties aged 7 to 19 years.

We are seeking a highly organised, IT-literate individual with extensive administration experience with GCSE Maths and English at Grade C. This role is fast-paced and multi-faceted, so the ideal candidate must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and work well under pressure. School experience is not essential as a proven background in a different setting will be considered.

You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties, which include welcoming visitors to the school, answering calls and a broad range of administrative tasks. This is a hands-on role working to established processes/procedures without close supervision, other than that provided through working arrangements, methods and procedures. The position requires strong multitasking skills to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. A flexible approach to this role is essential to ensure the demands of the school are met.

Working Hours: 37 Hours per week, Term Time plus 8 days (of which 5 are INSET days)

Salary: Grade C, scp 5-8, (£24,790 - £25,992), Actual Salary £22,406 - £23,792 p.a.
