OVERVIEW

The Leadership Development Program is designed to be a highly visible experience. Through a hands-on approach, you will learn various parts of our business and gain technical knowledge of our converting operations. Graphic Packaging interns are assigned a mentor and have opportunities to network with other colleagues and team members in the organization. During your time in the program, you will lead individual and team projects and have an opportunity to make in-person presentations. REQUIRED SKILLS

Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
Good analytical skills with attention to detail
Strong oral and written communication abilities
Recently graduated from university
Good written and spoken English
Eager to continuously learn and develop
Needs to be self-starter, be self-directed, take initiative to move forward with ideas, be committed and be able to work with and influence others.
A proactive and results-oriented approach
A collaborative style. Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
Comfortable working in heavy manufacturing environment.
Must learn quickly to analyse data.
Provide support to other departments as needed.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications

Identify your strengths and weaknesses. Understanding your leadership strengths and learning opportunities
Understand leadership styles. Knowing your leadership style can help you identify your preferred style and what is needed per situation.
Target specific skills. After you identify your areas of strength and weakness, you can create your development plan.
Expand your network. Observation is a powerful tool for developing leadership skills.

EDUCATION:

Masters Degree in Sales, Business, Engineering, Food science or Food chemistry

LDP is 24-month leadership program designed to develop operational, business and leadership skills. The program provides fast-track industry experience through structured learning and a hands-on approach.
