Castle Water are looking for enthusiastic and customer-centric Graduate Business Analysts for an exciting, fast-paced role with great training opportunities including short course with top business schools, and the opportunity for rapid career progression.

As a Graduate Business Analyst, you will work in our busy Industrial & Commercial section, within a new team focusing on resolving complex invoicing problems and working with complex data.

You will be supported within your team and put through formal training alongside learning through doing the role. These posts are for applicants with confidence and initiative as well as the maturity required to take responsibility and make decisions and be confident of their own abilities and potential.

What you’ll be doing

Analyse and resolve complex revenue and cash collection issues
Investigate and report on data trends
Data analyses on revenue against costs
Work with all business areas to resolve problems
Work collaboratively with your team and the wider business to improve business processes
Opportunity to support automation and improve business processes

What you’ll bring to the role

Good undergraduate degree (or equivalent), ideally with postgraduate qualifications, with up to 2 years’ experience – degree discipline should be in a highly numerate subject
Experience of working in a demanding environment with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines
High level of numeracy, ideally with data-analysis experience
Advanced Excel user essential. We would particularly like to meet candidates with experience of Idea and/or SQL
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent problem-solving skills
Willingness to take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution
